Air Transport Association Approved Cases (ATA Cases) & Shipping Containers

New developments in communication technology have allowed companies all across the globe to more easily connect and do business. Because of this, travel is inevitable in almost any job. At times, however, this can be rather stressful, especially if you are required to travel with or ship sensitive / delicate instruments, goods, and equipment.

Let’s be honest; airline baggage handlers are not exactly known for their delicate touch.

The Solution: Air Transport Association approved cases, better known as ATA cases.

ATA cases come in a wide range of different sizes and weights. And if there isn’t a stock case available to fit your needs, custom cases can be designed for specific items and then created within the ATA terms.

ATA Specifications

  1. ATA cases must be made from plastic laminate, fiberglass or aluminum.
  2. The inner walls and partitions must have multi-layer wood lining.
  3. Steel rivets.
  4. Foam interior.
