Legal Transportation
For a Maryland gun owner to legally transport their firearm, they must take a few extra measures to safely and legally transport it. If they are driving to or from the gun range, they are allowed to have their gun on them. They are also allowed to transport their gun when they are going hunting or taking it to a safety class. However, a gun owner should keep receipts on them to prove where they are coming from with their firearm. Additionally, they should not be making any additional stops when they are out with their gun. The only places they should be heading towards is their home and the shooting range or whatever legal place they are taking their gun to.
